The wooden planks are mostly hidden within secret passages. you collect the wooden planks for the end game.-- spoiler --after you beat the final boss, "the castle begins to collapse." then you rush to escape the castle by crossing over many gaps. in order to cross these gaps, you need the planks.. So i missed 1 plank and this sucks, you should have the option to at least replay an act or floor to get the remaining planks and also see where you missed it/them! to play the whole game again cause of 1 plank sucks hard!.
